SETH ANANDRAM JAIPURIA CONFERRED WITH AICRA AWARD
Recognising the exemplary work of the institutions and individuals working in Indian STEM sectors, the All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) awarded Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara with the prestigious AICRA award during the second edition of STEM SUMMIT organised on 16 April at IIT Delhi in the category “Most Emerging School as Robotics Education Provider” . The occasion witnessed the attendance of dignitaries from across the industries, such as, Mission Director- Atal Innovation Mission, Government of India Dr Ramana Ramanathan who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, Guests of honor Director NIF -Dr Vipin Kumar, MD Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers welfare-Dr . M .Ariz Ahammed, , Director CSIR-NISCAIR-Dr Manoj Patairiya and Dr. Tabassum Jamal-Chief Scientist CSIR-NISCAIR.
With the intention of encouraging schools to debate on ways to strengthen STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) AICRA bestowed the award on the basis of ‘Best Team representation in National /International Robotics Competition’ where they emerged winners, Robotics Education Arrangements, Training modules etc. The school was appreciated for revolutionizing business and driving innovation by encouraging learner involvement and imparting knowledge which caters to futuristic ideas.
The summit also provided information on cutting-edge developments in all areas of STEM research from bench to bedside, including the applications, regulations, product development. It highlighted robotics education scenario, industrial automation process, government regulations and policies on automation, implementation and research, manufacturing and other relevant topics which would be very beneficial for the students of the entire nation.
The Principal cum Director of the school Ms. Manju Rana congratulated the entire team and reiterated that STEM can fundamentally transform the Indian education system by powering new technology and integrating curriculum as well as its application. She said that the school believes in providing experiential learning by encouraging students to actively participate in think spaces like the ATAL Lab.
