Immunity refers to the body’s ability to prevent the invasion of pathogens which are foreign disease-causing substances, such as bacteria and viruses. Few ways to boost our immune system naturally are:
- Getting enough sleep
- Eating more whole plant foods
- Eating healthy food and taking a balanced diet
- Engaging in moderate exercises like yoga, meditation, etc.
- Staying hydrated
- Managing the stress levels, etc.
To equip students with the knowledge and skills of healthy life as mentioned above and to maintain a strong immunity, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School has introduced the Health and Wellness curriculum for classes I-XII under the able leadership and guidance of our respected Principal cum Director, Ms. Manju Rana ma’am. This curriculum has been integrated with all the subjects including the co-curricular ones like sports, dance, music, arts, etc. through which students will be able to take responsibility to create awareness for personal and community health.
To help students to identify ways in which they can lead a stress-free life full of fun and happiness and to strengthen the well-being of students and parents, our prestigious school conducts regular counseling for students and personal guidance for parents.
As a proud member of the Seth Anandram Jaipuria family, I would also like to share that our school envisages on the importance of a healthy lifestyle through various activities both curricular and co-curricular which is an integral part of our curriculum like practicing yoga and other forms of exercise, doing activities on healthy food habits, conducting SEL activities for the overall well-being of students, etc.
Boosting our immune system is the key or the mantra for healthy living. It is the most important need of the hour during this tough time of pandemics as humanity everywhere has been trapped by the deadly Coronavirus. So, the only resolution we are left with is to boost our immunity so that no external pathogens can devastate or overpower us.
