Collage Making Activity on Animals

To facilitate learning through various means and to inculcate the habit of “learning while doing” a collage-making activity was organised for the children of class Prep on the topic ‘Animals’. They pasted cut-outs of birds, wild and water animals on the worksheet and made a beautiful collage. The objective of the activity was to help them to identify and describe the habitats of different animals.  Various interesting facts about the animals were also discussed during the session. Through this activity, children got an opportunity to exhibit divergent thinking and creativity. They participated in the activity with great enthusiasm and enjoyed every bit of it.
