Curriculum & Pedagogy

Progressive school pedagogy aims to make learning more meaningful. It makes teaching learning process interesting, motivating and stimulating. A progressive school is one which constantly caters to the demands and challenges of a rapidly changing, increasingly high tech and global environment. At Seth Anandram Jaipuria School the curriculum is flexible and age appropriate which caters to the needs of each and every child. The curriculum is designed to encourage the learning process (memory, attention, observation) and cognitive skills (reasoning, comparing and contrasting, classification). We promote a child’s active and independent observation and exploration of concrete material to develop concepts / skills. They include the interactive teachers’ sessions, teaching styles, and instructional techniques as well as the use of varied teaching aids such as Smart Boards, field trips, excursions and lab activities.

In the attempt to provide holistic learning, the school, facilitates sessions on Life Skills, Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Development. Life Skills are the skills that one needs to build a happy and successful life and provide young adolescents with a set of tools, skills and winning attitudes, which can help them to become all that they are capable of becoming. Special Value Education and Life Skills session by trained counselors endow the students with value based learning for effective learning. Peer Education is also an integral part of the curriculum. It helps the students to learn from each other and deal with their emotional imbalances through peer interactions and empathy.

At Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, the teachers employ a variety of multimedia tools for enhanced learning. The curriculum and guidelines are flexible. The school has a student management system in place and this system automates many processes of the institution and allows the facilitators to concentrate on teaching and learning.
