Green is something that is very close to our hearts. Seth Anandram Jaipuria imbues the need for green sustainable development and tries to do its bit towards securing the Environment for the future. As an educational institution we feel it is our responsibility to sensitize the young minds towards nature and its importance. After all they only will carve the future of the environment. And what better way to make them understand then to walk the talk through Local and Global initiatives.

There have been some very innovative approaches undertaken in building the facilities at the home level that are contributing hugely in terms of reducing the carbon foot print. And what makes this even more interesting is the intelligent out of the box approaches like introducing some age old Indian Architecture techniques that not only make the buildings environmental friendly but also make them more cost effective and turn it into a Green Campus with measures like – Ceiling Heights, Central Atriums with Natural Ventilation on the top, Windows, Lighting, , Indoor Sports Arena, Splash Pool, Horticulture, Rain Water Harvesting, etc. The school also has a functional Paper Recycling Unit, to treat the waste paper generated in the school. The Eco Care Club  and Interact Club take up the cause of spreading awareness among students through cleanliness drives, Cracker Free Diwali etc. at the local level. One of the most prime initiatives of the school at the Global Echelon is to join hands with ENO (Environment Online Programme) that provides the school and the students the platform for reducing the Carbon Footprint, through numerous activities and Exchange Programmes with schools Worldwide.

We realize that all of us share an obligation to environmental sustainability. Students, faculty and all staff members at Seth Ananadram  jaipuia  school express it as “Sustainability is the belief that everything is interconnected.”

The school is  working tirelessly for reaching the 17 Sustainable Development Goals laid by United Nations. Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, has engaged students, faculty members and other staff members in this field by successfully integrating the SDGs into its teaching learning process. The journey that started in 2016 has witnessed embracing of the Sustainable Development Goals by each section of the school and our all endeavours are aligned with SDGs. we have been able to design a curriculum highlighting the SDG in every step and every move of the school.
