OUR CHAIRMAN

The house of Jaipurias headed by Shri Shishir Jaipuria, is an acknowledged name in the industrial and educational arena. The group is well known for its creative and innovative endeavours. Jaipuria’s association with the education sector goes back to 1939, when Seth Anandram Jaipuria Education Society was established, with the objective of promoting and spreading quality education. The group having established their own schools from pre-primary to K-12 level, has now entered in the field of franchise.

ABOUT JAIPURIA

The founders of the group chose education as the most powerful medium for empowering the younger generation of India. The Jaipuria group forayed into education in 1939. They laid foundation of their first institution in the year 1945, a degree college named ‘Seth Anandram Jaipuria College’ under the patronage of Seth Anandram Jaipuria Trust in Kolkata. It was inaugurated by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India. This college has completed 77 years and has 20,000 students on roll and runs some prestigious colleges and schools in Kolkata, Kanpur, Ghaziabad and Lucknow.

Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur, inaugurated by Dr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, President of India, was started in 1974 and its foundation stone was laid by Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister of India. The co-educational school is affiliated to the Council for the ICSE, for both Science & Commerce streams. The school celebrated its 40th anniversary in year 2014, which was also marked by the publication of a Coffee Table Book that chronicled its growth and evolution. It is rated as the best school in Kanpur and amongst the top 3 schools in Uttar Pradesh.

Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad, started in year 2004, has created a niche among the premier schools of NCR and has been rated as one of the India’s Best school by ‘Education World Magazine’. It has been placed among the ‘Top Ten’ in the category of ‘leaders’ by ‘Times of India Survey 2015’. The school stands for its strong value system along with distinction in academics and co-curricular activities. It boasts of a strength of 4500 students and is affiliated to CBSE. The school is ISA Certified and keeps students engaged in the initiatives taken by British Council through a mélange of activities. The school has been bestowed with numerous accolades like the ‘Paryavaran Mitra Award’ and the ‘Green School Award’, for the commendable work done in creating greener and healthier environment.

The group started a Pre-Primary School ‘Little One’ in 2013-14 at Kanpur. The Pre-School has been conceptualized with a well-planned infrastructure and conducive school environment to facilitate learning. It caters to the unique needs of every child and aims at sharpening their multiple intelligence. The curriculum has been designed to incorporate the best of various methodologies for skill enhancement.

Carrying forward its legacy, the Jaipuria group has set up Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow, in the city of Lucknow in Ansal, Sushant Golf City. The school is equipped with all the modern tools that are used in the field of education including computer labs, smart classes, etc. The emphasis is on experiential learning, activity based interactive sessions based on unique curriculum. The school has a highly experienced faculty and has introduced customized learning with strong academic rigour. The comprehensive set of co-curricular activities help the holistic development of a child. The school carries the legacy of Kanpur and Ghaziabad schools which have a combined strength of 7000 students and alumni strength of more than 11000.
