Our compassionate students took these words of Timothy Dalton to heart and posited an exemplary courage by standing up for what is right and choosing to Act for altruism. Maahi Aggarwal of Class VII and Unnati Singhal of Class IX transcended their fears in the testing times of the pandemic and helped others get through their struggles. The tenacious efforts of our young Jaipurians won them the accolade of being COURAGEOUS CHILDREN ~ the Creative Champions of COVID-19 induced VUCA by Rethink India.

Drawing from the experiences of her own Quarantine, Unnati employed technology to provide motivation and hope to COVID-19 patients and shared in their tears and smiles as they grappled with COVID. Maahi demonstrated commendable moral strength by donating masks, sanitizers to the needy and even providing families suffering from COVID with free home-cooked lunch and dinner at their doorstep in delta colonies Vaishali and Vasundhara, following all safety measures. Maahi also spreads dietary and precautionary awareness measures through her YouTube Channel ‘MAAHI’S CREATIVE WORLD’.

Learn German

Gladly we would like to share with you all that students – Pihu Pant and Diya Malik of Class IX from our school have been selected among Top 5 Winners in a German Video Competition “Why learn German?” organised by Goethe Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi for students learning German in schools, wherein the participants talked about the advantages of learning German using creative elements for their videos (music, acting, dance, rhetoric speech, roll play etc.) and created innovative videos stating why is it worth learning German during their school years.
They will be offered either participation in a virtual German youth camp or an online German language course on a scholarship basis as reward by Goethe Institut Max Mueller Bhavan New Delhi.

GSP WASTE TRANSFORMERS

Congratulations to Principal cum Director ma’am for inspiring us, through her continuous efforts towards environment sustainability awareness. The tenacious bond ma’am shares with optimism and learning remains unfazed by the pandemic. As a devout environment conservationist, ma’am has been working towards making the school eco-friendly in all possible ways. Her guidance had led us to achieve the ‘Green School Award’ last year and we participated and in ‘Waste Transformers’ program this year by the Prestigious Environment organisation CSE. She is awarded with Certificate of Leadership, for the same.
Under her mentorship Ms. Madhavi Goswami and Ms. Bhavna Sharma are also awarded with certificates

Rise up4SDGs International Collaborative Project

“If we can conquer space, we can surely conquer poverty and hunger”, with this resolution in mind, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School is on its Endeavour to awaken hundreds of minds and win the mission of eradicating poverty and hunger. Being a green school and a part of the sustainable development goals(SDGs), adopted by all United to end poverty, reduce inequality and build more peaceful, prosperous societies by 2030 has always been presenting its eco endeavors. Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, being a stakeholder of Rise up4SDGs, the collaborative project, has successfully completed its first month providing its eco-awareness contribution. It is being an 8-month long project involving 16 countries that has many international green goals to achieve.

A Proud Moment for Jaipurians!

Gladly I would like to share that Muskaan Chadha of Class IX, being our school’s FIT – Topper who scored 59/60, got selected by Max Mueller Bhavan (Goethe Institut, New Delhi) for an International Digital German Youth Camp, Freiburg, Germany.

This is to apprise you that this golden opportunity has been given only to the German learners who had scored 59 or 60 /60. Muskaan Chadha was one of the Jaipurians who was part of this International Digital German Youth Camp.

This Camp was organized by Max Mueller Bhavan, Freiburg, Germany from 26.10.2020 to 30.10.2020, wherein the content of the digital Camp were Energy, ecological Footprint, Sustainability in German cities, and an interactive Live city Tour to Freiburg, Germany, wherein participants got the chance to learn more about Germany, its culture, food, festival by interacting with Germans and German learners from across the world.

CLIMATE ACTION BY YOUTH ADVOCATES IN INDIA

Abhinandan Adhikari once again made us proud by participated in #earthchampions Workshop which was conducted by UNICEF in collaboration with UNEP, WWF, Nine is Mine and YuWaah. on 5th November 2020. The workshop had participants from different parts of India and had panellists from all around the globe, from countries like – USA, Canada, Singapore, Australia and India. The workshop was moderated by the United Nations Resident Co-ordinator of India and the UN India Team. The speakers shared their experiences of activism and some of them also shared one of their unique ideas on how youth can contribute towards protecting our environment and reducing the increasing carbon footprints. Awareness and Global Activism are the only ways by which youth can protect the world. After the discussion, students drafted a plan of action on how they can spread awareness among the youth and the steps that can be taken at an individual level.

33rd IMUN Online Conference – Pihu Pant!

Pihu Pant student of grade 8 I of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School got a special mention award in the 33rd IMUN Online Conference. Over 1200 delegates from more than 45 countries participated. Pihu was The delegate of Venezuela in the WHO committee. The topic of the committee was mental health in 2020 – Quarantine Edition. She was praised for her prompt questioning in moderated and unmoderated caucus. Also praised for Speaking as the Delegate of Venezuela. Pihu was able to convince delegates of problems Venezuela is going through during Covid19. IMUNC in association with the Australian embassy praised the effort and adjudged with her special mention award. We wish her all the very best for her future endeavors

‘You Can Win: a source of motivation for friends’

There are many little ways to enlarge your child’s world. The love of books is the best of all.
This is the belief system that forms the edifice of children’s development in Seth Anandram Jaipuria School and Tanisha of class VII has stood true to it. The school takes immense pride in stating that Tanisha’s article ‘You Can Win-A source of motivation for students’ got published in The Hindustan Times dated 10.11.2020. The article penned down by her is an account of the transformational journey which ensued after reading the book ‘You Can Win’ by the author Shiv Khera. The publication of the article is not just a testimony of Tanisha’s avid reading habits, reflective thought process, and perceptiveness to be touched by positivity in life but also of the dynamic school culture which believes that ‘Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary.’ We wish our budding writer several more opportunities to adorn her thoughts with pearls of words.

Unicef certificate in collaboration with Adeliade school of Art, Australia

Heartiest congratulations to Rajshikha Pandit for being part of jagART, a series of art and narrative workshop to bring together all the young artists, organised by NinsisMine in collaboration with Adelaide Central School of Art, Australia held in the month of August to October 2020 on 20th August, 2020. The workshops were based on SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy to everyone and was graced by Dr Daniel Connell. Rajshikha successfully designed a book on ‘Thermal Energy and Volcanoes‘ and earned a certificate from Unicef.

DHRUV SHAH of Class X-G is an amateur Astronomer and an Astrophotography. It’s been an year in Astronomy for him. In a short span of time his image was featured in NASA APOD(Astronomy picture of the day) as a notable submission. Today his image is featured in an Indian Space Magazine – Infinoscope October edition 2020. This image shows the minerals which are present on the moon. Titanium on the moon is primarily found in the mineral ilmenite which is a compound which contains iron, titanium and oxygen. The title given by him is “3D MINERAL MOON
