Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara organized an Orientation Programme for the parents of students of Grades- VI, VII A to E on April 01, 2023 and Grades VII F to K and VIII on April 03, 2023 in the School Auditorium. The day saw the beginning of another novel journey and commenced with the welcome of the students, their parents, dignitaries and faculty members. The new set of parents were acquainted with the learning environment their ward would soon be an integral part of.

The Principal, Ms. Shalini Nambiar, warmly welcomed the parents and assured them of the school’s commitment towards ensuring their child’s growth and development in all respects. She stressed on the fact that a strong collaborative effort of the school and parents is what would be required, to guide our young learners in becoming responsible members of the contemporary society.

Then the Vice Principal, Ms. Chetna Sehgal, addressed the parents and apprised them with the school rules, the discipline policy, the promotion policy and the current assessment model in detail, to ensure clarity for all the stakeholders. She interacted with them and diligently responded to their queries about the day-to-day functioning of the school.

Academic Coordinator, Ms. Shuchi Rawat, then introduced the Headmistress Ms. Priya Mohan, who in turn gave the parents a glimpse of the Co-curricular activities and the Work-ex Program of the school. Following that, the Class representatives Ms. Mala Majumdar, Ms. Priyanka Mahajan and Ms. Seema Sharma introduced all the class teachers and subject teachers of the various sections. Post the introduction, the Class teachers took the parents on a visit to their wards’ classrooms, conducted an activity and asked them to mention and share their wards’ strengths and weaknesses with them. Parents also shared their queries about the prescribed textbooks and syllabus and the new assessment pattern.

It turned out to be a fruitful day for the parents and the teachers, who had a chance to interact with each other before the classes began. Not only the birth of a strong bond, this event also created an opportunity for the parent community, to discuss various aspects of the student’s schooling and served as an important alliance between parents and the school authorities to collaborate and plan for the upcoming academic session.
