Virtual Exchange Programme With Italy Day – 2
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad in collaboration with San Filippo International Primary school hosted its Day-2 of virtual exchange program with lots of excitement and enthusiasm. The students from both the countries were excited to connect with their friends over this virtual collaboration. Ms. Luisa, an SEN teacher from San Filippo International Primary School, Umbria, Italy also joined us in today’s session and she unceasingly appreciated work of our students. Mr. Andrea uttered many words in Hindi like “ Namaste”, “Dhanyawad” and “Shukrana” while interacting with us. In today’s session, the students shared several interesting activities which they did to make the best use of their time during this lockdown. They spoke about different skills they learned and hobbies they picked up during this testing time. Students from both the countries not only showcased their activities/hobbies very confidently but also appreciated and learnt from each other.
The theme for today’s interaction was discussing hobbies and extracurricular activities. We believe that hobbies give a child an opportunity to express themselves, and they allow them to discover themselves and build self-esteem. Hobbies are also great educational tools so we need to encourage our children to develop or pursue hobbies of their liking. Extra-curricular activities help a child develop mentally, physically and emotionally.
The presentation given by the young Jaipurians was much appreciated by students as well as the educators of San Filippo International Primary School. It was a wonderful experience for students of both the countries.
